Can I Get An Abortion in Georgia?
On June 24th, 2022, the United States Supreme Court reversed the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide. Now, each state is allowed to legislate abortion without having to adhere to a federal mandate. In Georgia, abortions cannot be performed after a fetal heartbeat is detected, typically as early as six weeks.
If you’re facing an unplanned pregnancy and feel abortion is your only option, first you need to get an ultrasound.
